Sound DesignIn partnership with Samsung, students at Central Saint Martins are invited to create a short moving image sequence envisioning how our homes will be transformed in the future.

A 










series of Coexistence is a short animation that visualises future homes as speculative spaces exploring and expanding the human connection with nature. During the lockdown in London, windows and digital screens became the only portals to reconnect human with humans and other beings. 
Starting from the square frame as a portal of the house to reach the ecological world, this virtual experience could alter the way we access to nature and how such interactions could be materialised within future living environments.

Time Travel is a video installation featured in Voyager 2 exhibition at LCCA Gallery, London in April 2019. It’s a story of a 3D human-like character travelling across 0 to 4-dimensional space. The character exploring abstract forms in the futuristic environment makes the audience to imagine and rethink about the unknown outer space.&#38;nbsp;
Voyager 2 is the extension of previous exhibition Voyager 1, held by Melanie Chappuis, Danae Valterio and Hae Dn Kim as a team, to show different traces of humanity and a general aspect of our lives through a various range of media from video installations to paintings, textiles and photographs.

Music Video












Food takes a crucial role in our lives and it’s getting bigger and bigger. We have abundance food choices but too often we neglect or overlook how food waste causes serious environmental issues. Even though climate change and resource depletion are now widely recognised, efforts towards change remain weak and fragmented. 
Missing Blue is a campaign to help people to understand our sustainable food system and encourage them to grow plants –communicated through a music video. The video captures the documentation of people’s engagement in producing sound and visualises how plant growth responds to music. 
With this campaign, it enables the audience not only enjoying the music but also link music with plant cultivation and get involved in its goal: achieving a minimum of 1% increased productivity each year in order to halve emissions by 2050. Music supports plant growth and health, which is equal to our health.

2018Voyager 1

Immersive Video Installation
The exhibition Voyager 1 was held by Hae Dn Kim and Melanie Chappuis from the 17 to 21 September 2018 at LCCA Gallery in London, UK.Named after the NASA space probe Voyager 1,&#38;nbsp;it is the furthest object sent to interstellar 

exploring the outer solar system. On-board the spacecraft, NASA has placed a golden record that contains sounds and images from Earth  to communicate a story of our world to extraterrestrials and search for extraterrestrial intelligence. 
Inspired by the contents of the golden record, the exhibition presented visual and sound-based works that reflect various traces of humanity and a general aspect of our lives to the outside world.
